Who's behind The Mask? (9: Hangover)
As Peggy lazily tossed the hunk of embossed wood across her friend's coffee table, she resigned herself to a nearby couch to collect her thoughts. She was still a little shook with coming face to face with a wanted criminal, almost getting her tongue cut out, and then physically tearing off whatever was on her friend's face. It all felt so surreal yet she was completely wide awake and slightly shaking. She leered towards the green wood on the table and saw a strange glow spilling out through its orifices. It shined a gentle, yet menacing, emerald hue as it beckoned for another mortal to fall victim to its mystical charms. However to the mask's dismay, Peggy quickly got up and ran out of the room as she grew increasingly creeped out at the eerie lights that danced in front of her. She turned the corner and knocked on Carol's bathroom to ask if everything was all right. Peggy waited for a solid minute before slowly peeking her head through an open crack to check on her friend.
